1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of products and services by Syston Staircraft Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you ("the customer") agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services Offered

We specialize in:

  • Design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke staircases

  • Renovation and repair of existing staircases

  • Supply of related joinery products

All services are subject to individual quotations and project assessments.

3. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

  • Prices are based on the specifications provided and may be subject to change if alterations are made.

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm any order.

  • The remaining balance is due upon delivery or completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders can be cancelled within 7 days of the deposit being paid. Refunds after this period may be subject to deductions for work already commenced or materials ordered.

  • Bespoke items are non-refundable once production has begun.

6. Delivery and Installation

  • Estimated delivery and installation timelines will be provided upon order confirmation.

  • Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, supplier issues) will be communicated promptly.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring site access and readiness for installation on the agreed date.

7. Warranty and Liability

  • All products come with a 12-month workmanship guarantee.

  • This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the contract and does not cover consequential damages or losses.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must ensure all measurements and structural conditions are accurate unless a site visit has been conducted by us.

  • Any changes after project confirmation may result in additional charges and delays.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, sketches, and plans provided remain the property of Syston Staircraft Ltd and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Leicester, United Kingdom.
